I have been a fan of Tracy Teresa Grant since reading The Daughter of the Game which is now known as Secrets of a Lady This is one of her earlier works but still has romance, war, intrigue, rich historical background and a difficult to put down story GoodReads calls it 3 of a quartet, but the author s own chronology on her website calls it 2 Whichever order, its a good story, however her 2nd series is still one of my favorites I would re read this one, but have re read Secrets and its immediate [...]

Another historical romance by Tracy Grant purchased for 2.99, this is the story of Emma and Robert Again, couldn t put it down The mystery in this doesn t get resolved until nearly the end of the book, but I didn t feel strung along at all I loved the romantic resloution as much as the historical details.

I love that the main characters were a widow and a widower and that it s full of intrigue and mystery.
