"Dinnertime!" said Mommy."But dinosaurs don't HAVE dinnertimes!" said Mo."Really?" said Mommy. "They must get very hungry.""They eat whenever they like," said Mo.So starts this book, about an exhausted redhead mom living in a filthy house with her curly-haired redhead son.The book opens with Mo playing on the floor with dinosaurs. He's scotch-taped dinosaurs to the houseplants. He's tied pterodactyls from the houseplants with yarn. He is wearing dinosaur slippers and a homemade dinosaur hat. A o [...]

That was so adorable. Like one of the cutest and best things, I've seen all week. Mo's mom is very patient. If Mo was my kid, I'd be a lot less nice. I'd probably say: "Well, sorry to crush your dreams but you're not a dinosaur, so do what I tell you." More to come in my wrapup.

Dinosaurs Don't Have Bedtimes!Thank you to the publisher Walker books for my ARC (Advance Review Copy) which was sent to me free with no obligation to review. My son loves Dinosaurs and one of his favourite book series is The Dinosaur That Pooped so he was really excited to have a new book read to him at bedtime when it first arrived a couple of weeks ago although slightly disappointed that there was no poop involved in the story! The story is fun with lovely bright and detailed illustrations and [...]

Maybe dinosaurs don’t have bedtimes, but little boys do. And what are you going to do when your little one wants to pretend he’s a dinosaur and can do everything a dinosaur can? This adorable new book helps answer that question and more.

This story about Mo, a little boy who likes to pretend he's a dinosaur, has cute pictures and shows wonderful imagination, but Mo is a brat. He makes huge messes that he doesn't help clean up, he's rude to his mother - and there are no consequences for these things. Even if it were changed a little bit with a line like "Dinosaurs love their mommies" or anything, it would help. Instead, his doting mother lets him do anything he likes without teaching him that some things are not okay. It just rub [...]

This book is about a little boy who really wants to act like a dinosaur. Every time his mom suggests something that he should do, such as go to bed, he tells her that dinosaurs don’t do that.I will admit that this was not my favorite book. It did not have a lot of story to it, but the pictures were cute. It would be a good book for little kids who really like dinosaurs. I would probably use this to read to a kindergarten class, especially if we were having a unit on dinosaurs. Because it used [...]

A cute little book about a little boy who loves dinosaurs and doesn't want to do things when Mommy tells him because dinosaurs do things when they want. I love the illustrations more than the story. Kids will love it though.

According to the young boy who doesn't want bedtime, dinner, bathtime etc, dinosaurs don't do any of those things, they should eat what they want, go where they please, make lots of noises etcm goes along with the boys imagination but gets her own way in the end.

Review originally published on my blog, Nine Pages. The redheaded protagonist, Mo, dressed in a dinosaur costume, imagines a dinosaur’s life is one of no rules, doing whatever he wants. To his mother’s argument that dinosaurs must get hungry with no dinnertime, he says they eat whenever they want. Dinosaurs of course are always messy. In his imagination, Mo is a dinosaur, shown as such every few pages before flashing back to himself and his mother as they are. Mo is a contrary child, but his [...]

I received this paperback book for free from the publisher in return for a review. The following is my honest opinion on this book:‘Dinosaurs Don’t Have Bedtimes’ is a simple storybook aimed at very young kids. The story is about Mo, a young boy who is dressed up and thinks himself a dinosaur. When Mummy tells Mo it’s time for supper, Mo tells her ‘Dinosaurs don’t HAVE suppertimes!’. When Mummy tells Mo it’s time for a bath, Mo tells her ‘Dinosaurs don’t HAVE bath times!’. [...]

I think this is a nice picture book with fun illustrations and a cute story which children will love. Timothy Knapman tells us the tale of Mo, a little boy who loves dinosaurs and basically uses dinosaurs as a reason not to do things - like have a bath, drink his milk or go to bed. Of course Mo eventually does all of these things anyway whilst his mummy plays along. I love the story - I think it's really fun and kids will absolutely love Mo and his dinosaurs. The illustrations are simple, colour [...]

The little boy in our story is feeling wild tonight! He's not a little boy but a dinosaur who doesn't have to follow the rules of the house. No dinner time and especially not bedtime! Can mom convince this little dino that rules are meant to be followed by all? A cute look at the creative ways kids can come up with to delay the inevitable. Entertaining for parents and kids alike. Great for snuggle time at the end of a long day adventuring.

Mo would rather be a dinosaur. It's really too bad he's just a bit older than a toddler and that he needs dinner, bath, and bedtime. His endlessly patient mom (endlessly patient) listens to all the reasons dinosaurs don't need those things, but she somehow gets him through the process without any threats, bribes, wrestling, or warnings. I'd like some tips from her
