This is an excellent example of what is best in western romances. Great characters, an interesting plot, and an endearing child, an enjoyable read. I'm so glad I found this one. Happy reading!

All Around excellent westernA workload of sisters cross the prairies as far as western Montana to their new ranch acquisition where their aunt was recently widowed to find the place sadly neglected. Their aunt was not expecting them but she is quickly added to the household, and a gentleman miner comes in to help. Challenges include weather, but the small herd of horses they brought with them and the cosy and who has acted as protector as well as general handyman is like a big brother to the lot [...]

First off I am not usually a fan of historical novels but the blurb caught my eye. The Harper girls have lost both parents and are making their way to Montana to live with their Aunt Gwen but when they find her the ranch she wrote about is in disrepair. Missouri the oldest of the girls sets he mind to the fact she is going to make this ranching work and then she meets Rye a miner with a secret. When he finally gets the courage to ask to court her she turns him down because she promised her siste [...]

Good storyIf you like western that have both action and some sweet romance you'll like this story. The Harper sisters, driven out of Missouri by grief, set out to make their dreams come true by proving up land to raise especially nice horses. But, what their Aunt wrote and what they found I. Morgan's Crossing don't mesh, but any dream worth having takes work. The oldest sister, named Missouri, already a bit of a spinster, has sworn off marriage least for several years. But, what can she do when [...]

So sweetI love historical romance, this is the story of Missouri Harper and her three sisters. They travel to Morgan's Crossing Montana where they had purchased a homestead. They would live with their Aunt until they could establish their homestead. Rye Rawlins is one of the miners in Morgan's Crossing but he has a secret, his feelings grow for Missouri but he cannot think about a future with her, loved this story. Looking forward to reading the other sisters stories.

Morgan's Creek is Lucky to Have Doctor RawlinsRye's Reprieve is the perfect addition to the Montana Sky Series. Rye Rawlins is mesmerized by Missouri Harper from the first moment he lays eyes upon her, and he works hard to win her affections, but Missouri must prove her land before she can take the next step in their relationship. This is a must read for fans of the rugged frontier and the people who worked hard to tame it.

Good Clean Romance with AdventureThis was a good read and a sweet romance. It is a clean romance and was not preachy as some Christian romances are. I enjoy a very descriptive story and satisfied that. The plot was predictable but that did not diminish the story. It lacked a certain intimacy but maybe the author was respectful of the time period. It did have drama and adventure. I recommend this to readers.

Doctors in Morgan's CrossingThis is a compelling story of a female veterinarian and a guilt ridden doctor. There is much historical detail in their lives and activities. HEA but not as you might expect. I have enjoyed Debra Holland's world of Sweetwater Springs and Morgan's Crossing. The couple stories I have read in her Kindle World have added to that universe nicely.

I loved this story of strong individuals resisting the allure of romance that might upset their goals. Rye and Missouri meet in a most unusual way which kicks off a friendship that doesn't follow all the rules. Wonderful descriptions of Montana put me right there in Morgan's Crossing. Good family dynamics among the sisters and their aunt.

HorsewomenMissouri and her sisters are a determined bunch of women. Now we add Rye who won't claim he's a doctor. What do you get when you put together a Veterinarian and a Doctor? Magic. Enjoy!

I enjoyed itI bought this book by accident, I don't like historical romance didn't read it for the longest time. Finally decided I needed a Montana romance and this was the only one I hadn't read. Considering all that, it is a well written book with a good story.
