The first book of an extraordinary series, we can only see hints of what Zot! will become. In this volume, it starts out as an amusing story about a teenage super hero who lives in the best of all possible worlds. It's funny, and kinda exciting, with some pretty good chemistry between the main characters and then things turn tragic. Unsafe. Wow, talk about nostalgia. I remember reading Zot way back when it was first being published. I noticed that the black and white issues were finally being released as a collection, so I thought reading the first 10 issues would be a great way to kick of the Zot nostalgia-thon.I haven't read comics in close to 20 years, but it was loads of fun re-reading Zot. It's so full of youthful energy and spirit. I look forward to reading the rest of the series when it's released later this month.
