This Wild Silence shows that Lucy Jane Bledsoe has a way with words, as shown by the beautiful imagery and the descriptions of the wilderness, and that she knows how to write as the narrative effortlessly jumps from the present to the past. It was a very interesting read. I really liked the different stories woven into the main story line to give body to the main characters. And the book really shows how one wrong thing can affect relationships for years.
